Ipil National High School Emerges Champion in 77th Araw ng Ipil Inter-School Cheerdance Competition
IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay – School pride, energy, and spectacular performances took center stage as four schools battled for top honors in the Inter-School Cheerdance Competition held on July 26, 2026, following the grand civic and civic-military motorcade, as part of the celebration of the 77th Araw ng Ipil.
The competition transformed the venue into a vibrant display of synchronized routines, daring stunts, and colorful performances, with each contingent showcasing exceptional talent, creativity, and teamwork before an enthusiastic crowd.
More than just an exhibition of dance and acrobatics, the competition highlighted the values of discipline, dedication, perseverance, and collaboration as the participating schools demonstrated months of preparation and hard work.

Medina College Inc. secured the 1st Runner-Up title, while Timalang National High School finished as the 2nd Runner-Up, with both schools earning praise for their spirited and entertaining presentations.
The Inter-School Cheerdance Competition was one of the featured events of this year's Araw ng Ipil festivities, promoting camaraderie, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among the municipality's educational institutions while providing a platform for students to showcase their skills and school spirit.
The Local Government Unit of Ipil expressed its gratitude to the organizers, participating schools, coaches, trainers, school officials, and supporters whose dedication and commitment contributed to the success of the event.
LGU Ipil also commended all participating contingents for making the competition one of the highlights of the municipality's 77th founding anniversary celebration, underscoring the unity, talent, and vibrant spirit of the youth of Ipil.
