Angel Rose Laya Crowned Binibining Poblacion 2025- in Celebration of Unity and Empowerment
IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay - The Binibining Poblacion 2025 pageant, held on the evening of December 27, 2025, concluded the 76th Araw ng Poblacion with a meaningful celebration of beauty, purpose, and community spirit. The event showcased not only the charm and grace of the candidates but also their advocacies, highlighting unity and empowerment as central themes of the barangay’s annual celebration.
Six radiant candidates graced the stage, captivating the audience with their poise, intelligence, and heartfelt advocacies. Each contestant emphasized the importance of Panaghiusa, or unity, reflecting the core value that has guided Barangay Poblacion throughout the week-long festivities. The pageant celebrated not just outer beauty, but confidence, courage, and the meaningful contributions women can make in their communities.
After an inspiring competition, the Top 3 finalists were announced. Princess Llyannah Joy N. Buenaflor was named 2nd Runner-Up, Kaycee Rosel Saffayani took the 1st Runner-Up spot, and Angel Rose E. Laya proudly emerged as Binibining Poblacion 2025, earning recognition for her poise, advocacy, and commitment to serving the community.

“This pageant is more than just a contest of beauty, it is a celebration of purpose, empowerment, and unity,” said SK Chairman Joshua A. Sta Cruz. “Even amid challenges, the SK Council and the entire community came together to ensure that the event was a success, reflecting the spirit of Panaghiusa that defines Barangay Poblacion.”
As the final event of the 76th Araw ng Poblacion, the pageant capped the celebration on a note of inspiration and togetherness.
