Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, April 17, 2026 - The Sindangan Central Fire Station fell victim to a prank involving a large fake food order, resulting in inconvenience and potential financial losses for local businesses.

According to reports, the fire station received an unexpected delivery of 36 boxes of pizza from Mr. Snow Pizza, along with additional food packages worth approximately ₱11,000 from Familia Restaurant on the previous day.

However, authorities clarified that the orders were neither requested nor authorized by the fire station, raising concerns over the misuse of the agency’s name and the impact on the affected establishments.

The fire station warned that such acts are not only irresponsible but may also lead to legal consequences, especially as they cause disruption and financial strain on businesses operating in good faith.

The incident has already been reported to the Philippine National Police in Sindangan, which has launched an investigation to identify the individual responsible for the prank.

Authorities are reminding the public to act responsibly and refrain from using the names of government agencies for malicious or deceptive activities, particularly those that could harm local businesses and undermine public trust.
