Fire Victims in Kabasalan Receive Aid from Governor Hofer

Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, April 14, 2026- Families affected by a recent fire in Barangay Concepcion, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay received immediate assistance from Gov. Ann K. Hofer, as part of the provincial government’s continuing efforts to support communities in times of crisis.

Each of the affected families was given ₱5,000 in cash assistance along with relief goods to help them cope with their immediate needs and begin the process of recovery. The aid distribution was aimed at providing not only material support but also encouragement to families who lost their homes and belongings in the incident.

Officials of the local government unit and the barangay said the prompt response reflects the provincial government’s commitment to ensuring that no Sibugaynon is left behind, especially during emergencies.
