Sibugay Talent Shines on National Stage in “Tawag ng Tanghalan”

IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay - Pride and excitement swept across the province of Zamboanga Sibugay as a home-grown talent from Tungawan made a remarkable mark on national television. Jenievie Taan, a rising singer from Tungawan, delivered a standout performance during yesterday’s episode of Tawag ng Tanghalan on It's Showtime, earning an impressive score of 91.7 percent.

A member of the Governor’s Scholar Performing Artists, Taan showcased not only her vocal power but also her artistry and confidence on stage, qualities honed through dedication and training. Her performance captivated both the judges and viewers, allowing her to rise above fellow contender from Labason, Zamboanga del Norte and secure the day’s winning spot.

With this victory, Taan has officially qualified for the Regional Finals, marking a major milestone in her journey in the prestigious singing competition. As she advances to the next level, the competition is expected to become even more intense, with only the best talents moving forward.
