Earlier today, the official page of Miss Philippines Earth 2026 also introduced Cañete as one of its eco-delegates, featuring her in its “ECO DELEGATES X PARTNERS MP 2026” album. Representing Payao, she will promote her advocacy DUNONG-KILOS, which centers on translating awareness into concrete environmental action.
“I believe love is seen in what we do, not just in what we say. In every small act—showing up, caring for our environment, and taking responsibility for our community, I turn wisdom into action. This is how I choose to love,” she stated.
Cañete earned her title as Bb. Zamboanga Sibugay 2026 during the Araw ng Zamboanga Sibugay 2026, where she stood out among candidates for her poise, advocacy, and strong representation of Sibugaynon pride.
Her entry into the national pageant is seen as a proud moment for Zamboanga Sibugay, as she carries the province’s voice and environmental advocacy to a wider platform. Local supporters expressed optimism that her passion and purpose-driven campaign will resonate strongly on the national stage.
