GOV. ANN HOFER SET TO DELIVER 2026 STATE OF THE PROVINCE ADDRESS
IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay -Governor Ann K. Hofer will present her 2026 State of the Province Address (SOPA) on Tuesday, June 30, at 3:00 p.m. at the Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Capitol Atrium, bringing together provincial officials, local leaders, national agency representatives, and stakeholders for a comprehensive report on the province’s current condition and development direction.
The annual address will highlight the administration’s performance over the past year, showcasing key accomplishments and ongoing initiatives across major sectors, including infrastructure development, health services, education, agriculture, social welfare programs, environmental management, disaster preparedness, tourism promotion, peace and order, and local economic growth.
Governor Hofer is also expected to present priority programs and policy directions aimed at strengthening public service delivery, expanding economic opportunities, and sustaining inclusive development across all municipalities of Zamboanga Sibugay. The report will likewise address challenges faced by the provincial government and the measures being implemented to ensure continued progress and resilience.

The SOPA serves as the province’s official platform for accountability and transparency, providing an opportunity to report on achievements while setting strategic goals for the months ahead. It also underscores the importance of collaboration among provincial offices, local government units, national agencies, and community partners in advancing development initiatives.
Attending the event are expected to be members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, municipal and barangay officials, representatives from national government agencies, private sector partners, civil society groups, academe representatives, and other invited guests.
The provincial government has also opened the event to the public, encouraging Sibugaynons to take part in the occasion and stay informed about the programs and priorities that will guide the province’s development trajectory. Residents are invited to follow the address as Governor Hofer outlines her administration’s plans to further strengthen governance, improve essential services, and enhance quality of life across the province.
