IPIL, ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY - One person was killed while several others were injured following a violent three-way vehicular collision along the National Highway in Barangay Buluan, Ipil, early Friday morning.

The accident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on December 26, 2025, prompting an immediate response from local authorities after a concerned citizen reported the incident.

Based on the initial investigation of the Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS), an Isuzu Elf (V1) traveling from Zamboanga City toward Ipil allegedly encroached into the opposite lane, resulting in a head-on collision with a King Long passenger bus (V2) coming from the opposite direction.
