IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay — A spirit of gratitude, fraternity, and renewed commitment to God's call filled the halls of St. Joseph Seminary of Ipil as its Propaedeutic Seminarians gathered for a meaningful celebration centered on the theme, "Called by Grace, United in Brotherhood."

The gathering served not only as a fellowship activity but also as a reaffirmation of the seminarians' shared journey of discernment as they continue preparing for a life dedicated to priestly formation and service to the Church.

Anchored on the belief that every vocation begins with God's grace, the celebration highlighted the importance of fostering brotherhood among those who have responded to the Lord's call. Through prayer, reflection, and fellowship, the seminarians renewed their commitment to support one another as they navigate the challenges and joys of their vocation.

Seminary officials emphasized that the propaedeutic stage plays a vital role in priestly formation, providing young men with a solid spiritual, human, and pastoral foundation before they proceed to philosophical and theological studies.

The event also served as a reminder that the priesthood is not a journey undertaken alone but one strengthened by faith, mutual encouragement, and a shared desire to serve God's people.

Drawing inspiration from the Gospel of Matthew, the celebration echoed Christ's call: "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" (Matthew 9:37–38).

The passage underscored the continuing need for more men to courageously answer God's invitation to the priesthood and religious life, especially at a time when the Church continues to pray for more faithful and dedicated laborers in His vineyard.

As the seminarians continue their formation, the celebration stood as a testament to their growing faith, unity, and willingness to follow God's call with hope and generosity.

The Diocese of Ipil, through St. Joseph Seminary, continues to nurture future priests by providing an environment where young men can deepen their relationship with Christ, grow in spiritual maturity, and prepare themselves for a life of selfless service to the Church and the faithful.
